Let me tell you a bit about myself…

I am a professional photographer with 20+ years of experience, 14 of those years in Central Asia. I love visiting off-the-beaten-path places, places oozing with culture, places that are hard, and that most people don’t want to go to. I love meeting local people, eating local food (unless it's lung and intestine or sheep brains!), and exploring back alleys and hidden nooks and crannies! I love wandering rural areas and small villages…this is where culture is really found! I love photographing people, but also places, moments, and details. I want to impact the world through my photography (that’s not too much to ask, is it?!) I am passionate about walking alongside those who are suffering, fighting injustice, giving voice to the voiceless, and showing the beauty of the world, wherever I happen to find myself.

My photography is an intersection of faith, contemplation, and beauty.
